About the brand

Amana in North Georgia homes

Amana is the value line within the Whirlpool family — simple, mechanically straightforward machines with few electronics to go wrong.

What we service on Amana

Refrigerator defrost and thermostats, washer drive and drain, dryer heating. The simplicity works in your favour: fewer boards means more of what fails is a serviceable part.

Questions

Amana repair questions

Is an Amana worth repairing?

Often more so than fancier machines. Simple designs mean fewer boards and widely available parts.

Do Amana appliances share parts with Whirlpool?

Many do, which is good news for both availability and cost.

Extremely happy with response and service quality. Expecting to leave a message because it was Memorial Day, I was pleasantly surprised when the phone was answered. Appointment made for the next day for my washing machine which was making ugly noises. John arrived right on time and discovered what turned out to be a foreign object under the drum - then charged me only for the call out which was a bargain. Honest and fast and responsive.
